For journaling purposes, here is our post for Christmas 2010
We had a nice, mild Christmas this year. We went to my parent's house for a week or so. My mom is trying to recover from back surgery (again) and is supposed to take it easy. But, I don't think she is capable of taking it easy when it comes to Christmas time and having her family around. She is the best cook ever and HAD to make Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas breakfast, Christmas dinner, Sunday dinner, accidentally-bought-two-turkeys-dinner and some potluck meals for our big family get together. Different family members were able to come for the different meals, so that is why she put forth such effort to make them all special. Luckily, my family and I (well, my parents too of course) were the only ones that were at every single meal so we were extra pampered with great food. Thanks, Mom! You are the best!

Christmas Eve was spent with just my family and my parents. We had a nice evening with our traditional snacks galore, nativity walk to the barn, games and gift exchange. Although we were a small group, it was a great time and always fun to watch the magic through the eyes of the kids. I loved it. Beckham and Kresimir both got remote control cars for their Christmas Eve presents.

Beckham has always been a terrible sleep-through-the-night kid. He goes to bed super easy, but wakes up all the time during the nights. Sometimes he is up for 3 to 4 hours at a time. It's usually worse whenever we are not at our own home. So, this vacation was no exception for him. It's very exhausting! Luckily on Christmas Eve, he woke up at like 10pm for a short while and then stayed asleep until 5:30 am. Unfortunately, that meant everyone was awake at 5:30 Christmas morning. We were all tired but made it through the Christmas day okay.

Beckham LOVES sports. He loves throwing balls or anything for that matter. So after my parents had been hit in the face a few too many times with hard objects, my dad saw the perfect gift for Beckham at the store one day-a set of super soft sports balls. Beckham's reaction when he opened the gift was priceless! He squealed and immediately starting throwing the balls at everyone. We all got a good laugh watching him!

Kresimir LOVES riding his bike lately, but it is starting to get too small. So, he got a bike for his Christmas present this year. He was excited. He was also a little confused since he already has a bike, but will be happy come spring time when he will fit his new bike better. He asked me the other day when Grandma Gwen was going to come to watch him ride his bike.

Beckham was excited for Kresimir's bike as well.

Grandpa got help doing his traditional Christmas puzzle.

Everyone was excited when more family were able to join us in celebrating. Here's Trampis, Ella, and K taking a picture after church. They look fantastic!

My little man adores his cousins-every single one of them!

Trampis got an ipad-nice!

Beckham LOVES his Uncle Randy. Recently, I've had several people tell me that they think Beckham looks just like Randy.

Beckham and Lillian were cute together trying to figure one another out.

Aaryn and Kresimir spent a lot of time at the big family party. The first thing Aaryn asked when he saw us was, "where's Taz?" And, one of the first things K did was spill the red punch all over himself. We didn't bring extra clothes for him, so he spent the whole day looking like a mess. But, he had a blast, and that's what's important!

Here's Trey showing Kresh his cool football spins.

I saved this picture for last because it's always Kresimir's most favorite part about Grandma's house. The hot tub of course! Thanks, Trey, for taking such good care of him and saving me from having to sit out there in the snow and freezing cold weather.

What a great Christmas.

I was wondering why you skipped Cmas and went to NYE. I've been waiting for this one. Looks like everyone had a great time. This year, we'll be there too!!
Better late than never, although you did skip and go right to New Year's! Sounds like a great Christmas!
